About Ben

Benjamin “Ben” Paris is a Lyman High School alumnus and resident of the City of Longwood. His work history is broad and extends between both the private and the public sectors. After graduating from Seminole State College with his Associates Degree, Ben began his professional career at Northrop Grumman’s Laser Systems Division, where he worked in Digital Security. After leaving Northrup Grumman, Ben continued his education at DeVry University where he worked to expand his experience in business and management. Shortly thereafter, he earned his Bachelors of Science in Technical Management from DeVry.

Ben began his career at the City of Longwood while taking night classes at DeVry. Over the next five years, Ben witnessed first hand how Longwood’s city government works… and sometimes doesn’t work. That’s why he has stepped forward as a candidate for our Longwood City Commission in District 3.

Today, Ben is a partner in education with Orange County Public Schools and teaches personal fitness and martial arts to elementary school students.

On a personal level, he is an involved citizen, volunteering countless hours at various non-profits including the Association of Rape Prevention, local American Cancer Society Relay for Life events, Habitat for Humanity’s Longwood Haunt, Jewish Family Services Orlando and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network of Central Florida.

Like you, Ben is a concerned citizen who wants to see Longwood, her businesses and her residents, thrive. Ben is truly someone who is motivated to make a difference.

Join him as he fights for you!

Longwood more than ever needs to move forward with fresh innovated ideas to bring businesses back into the city. Longwood needs a fresh face on the City Commission that will work hard for its’ residents and the business community alike and one who will challenge the status quo at every turn and oppose those special interest groups or individuals in the pockets of some of Longwoods’ elected officials. Longwood needs a new voice on the Commission that would best represent the residents of the City of Longwood and its’ business Leaders in a fair and unbiased manner. That’s why I am highly endorsing Mr. Ben Paris to be elected to represent Longwood City Commission District 3.
